Together with the Dasman Diabetes Institute Kuwait, we assessed associations between physical activity and ambient air pollution in Kuwait over a 4 year period. We employed a cross-sectional cohort study involving over 2500 adults being physically active (~equiv. of 2x running 45min/week, i.e. >=600 MET-min/week) and assessed associations with physical activity and pollutant concentrations over the same time span.
